Supported living

Minnis Beeches

Supported living is the arrangement whereby someone who already has (or wants to have) their own tenancy or own home, also has support from a “Care and Support” provider, to help them live as independently and safely as possible.

Here at Minnis Beeches, our tenants receive support to live their everyday lives including help with:

• Managing bills and money
• Cooking and healthy eating
• Shopping
• Learning new skills
• Personal care and wellbeing
• Managing medication

Accessing sports, leisure and social activities, tenants are encouraged to shop for healthy and nutritional provisions, encouraging choice and decision making. Promoting this type of independence helps with decision making about health and hygiene and with following recipes and much more.
